And here is the May Bank Holiday Madness! It started with our re-scheduled Presentation night. On this night we present our volunteers with the certificates and awards that have been earned throughout the year. This year we also celebrated the volunteers who have saved lives and were even presented with the awards by the people whose lives they saved! The Mayor of Chorley was there to give out awards and Certificates. then came the weekend events. the Walmer Bridge Flame and Food Festival, i think they had us there because of the axe throwing! Chipping Steam Fair, which is always a great event but unfortunately got cancelled on Monday due to a waterlogged field. We did however find time to hand over the new Public Access Defibrillator which will be going up in Chipping. All this as well as some fantastic comedians at Chorley Theatre. What a team of Angels there is in Chorley!
